Description
Argentina Home Football Shirt Jersey Maglia Trikot 1986 Diego Maradona
Used during the epic quarter final clash against Argentina at the 1986 World Cup, which they of course won, insured by the genius of Diego Maradona. His iconic number “10” is on the back of this shirt. This is an original Japanese market issue shirt from the era. Japanese market shirts were shirts licensed for production by European companies like Adidas, Kappa, and in this case Le Coq Sportif. They would usually do this only with the very big clubs and national teams, or teams that contained a very popular player (like Platini and France 1986, Zico and Brazil 1986 etc), and also shirts worn by teams who had won a major competition (like Argentina 1986, Holland 1988, Italy 1982).
In Very Good vintage, worn condition compared to similar shirts of this age. Some light wear to the material near the crest, as pictured.
Size Adults Medium equivalent. Pit to pit is 48cm, and length from top of shoulder to hem is 70cm.
