The Toffees wrestled the league title from their bitter rivals Liverpool in 1986/87! The squad contained the likes of Trevor Steven Reid, Southall in goals, Sheedy, Ratcliffe and Sharp up front. This is a very rare Japanese market issue shirt from the era. Throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s, adidas licensed out production of certain kits (usually just the bigger clubs, or teams represented by iconic players) for sale on the Japanese market. These kits are highly collectible as they were not mass produced in the same quantities as the European market shirts. Some Japanese market shirts would differ slightly from the European market shirts.
In Very Good vintage, worn condition compared to similar shirts of this age.
Size Adults Medium equivalent. Jaspo L, which was the Japanese sizing system for the era. Pit to pit 48cm and length from top of shoulder to hem is 70cm at the front.
