France Away Football Shirt Maillot Trikot Maglia World Cup 1986
As worn by Les Bleus from 1985 until 1989, with only minor changes such as to the adidas/trefoil logo. F this was their alternate shirt for the 1986 World Cup, where it was donned by their iconic number “10” Michel Platini, Jean Tigana, and Luis Fernandez. This is a Japanese market issue shirt from the era. Throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s, Europe based manufacturers like Umbro, adidas and Kappa licensed out production of certain kits (usually just the bigger clubs, or teams represented by iconic players) to Japanese based manufacturers, for sale on the Japanese market. These kits are highly collectible as they were not mass produced in the same quantities as the European market shirts. Some Japanese market shirts would differ slightly from the European market shirts.
In Very Good vintage, worn condition compared to similar shirts of this age. Some minor signs of wear to be expected.
Size Adults Small equivalent. Jaspo M, which was Japanese market sizing from the era. Pit to pit is 50cm, and length from top of shoulder to hem is 68.5cm.
