France Away Football Shirt Maillot Trikot Maglia World Cup 1992 1993
As worn by Les Bleus from 1992 until 1993, by the likes of Blanc, Deschamps, Ginola and Cantona. This is a Japanese market issue shirt from the era. Throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s, Europe based manufacturers like Umbro, adidas and Kappa licensed out production of certain kits (usually just the bigger clubs, or teams represented by iconic players) to Japanese based manufacturers, for sale on the Japanese market. These kits are highly collectible as they were not mass produced in the same quantities as the European market shirts. Some Japanese market shirts would differ slightly from the European market shirts.
In Very Good vintage, worn condition compared to similar shirts of this age. Some signs of wear to be expected, such as fading to the adidas crest as pictured. There is an outline of a previous crest placement, underneath the current crest replacement.
Size Adults Medium equivalent. Jaspo O, which was Japanese market sizing from the era. Pit to pit is 54.5cm, and length from top of shoulder to hem is 74cm.
