Holland Netherlands Goalkeeper Football Shirt Jersey Maglia Trikot 1988 Adidas
One of the most sought after shirts of all time, as worn during the Dutch team’s march to glory at the 1988 European Championship. This was their first major tournament win, with the likes of Koeman, Rijkaard, Gullit and Van Basten in their side. The latter’s squad number “12” is on the back of this shirt. The number on the back looks like it was added more recently. This version was Made in Finland. There were several regional versions of this shirt produced (Japan South America, UK, Ireland), as the original match day version worn during the tournament was never available for public sale, but demand for the shirt was high.
In Very Good vintage, worn condition compared to similar shirts of this age. Will present with general signs of wear as to be reasonably expected of a pre-worn, 37 year old shirt.
Size Adults m Extra Large on label, but fits much smaller. Pit to pit is 54cm and length from top of shoulder to hem is 69cm.
