The Azzurri made it all the way to the final of the 1994 World Cup, losing out to Romário’s Brazil. They had an immensely talented squad including the likes of Maldini, Baresi, Albertini, Signori, Roberto Baggio and former AC Milan winger Roberto Donadoni, who’s squad number “16” is on the front and back of this shirt. This is a Japanese market issue shirt from the era. Throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s, Europe based manufacturers like Umbro, adidas and Kappa licensed out production of certain kits (usually just the bigger clubs, or teams represented by iconic players) to Japanese based manufacturers, for sale on the Japanese market. These kits are highly collectible as they were not mass produced in the same quantities as the European market shirts. Some Japanese market shirts would differ slightly from the European market shirts.

Size Adults Large equivalent. Jaspo (Japanese market size system) sizing label has faded. Pit to pit is 53.5cm, and length from collar at neckline to hem is 74cm at the front.
