A disappointing season for the club, as they failed to follow up the previous season’s success with any additional silverware. Roberto Baggio had a stellar season however, and his iconic number “10” is on the back. This is an original Japanese market issue shirt from the era. Throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s, Europe based manufacturers like Umbro, adidas and Kappa licensed out production of certain kits (usually just the bigger clubs, or teams represented by iconic players) to Japanese based manufacturers, for sale on the Japanese market. These kits are highly collectible as they were not mass produced in the same quantities as the European market shirts. Some Japanese market shirts would differ slightly from the European market shirts.
In Very Good vintage, worn condition, compared to similar shirts of this age.
Size Adults Medium equivalent. Jaspo L, which was the Japanese market sizing for the era. Pit to pit is 51cm, and length from shoulder to hem is 72cm.
