Nagoya Grampus Japan Match Worn Home Football Shirt Yunifõmu Maglia Trikot 1987 1988
Incredibly rare piece of Japanese football memorabilia. Based on the Descente collar label, I date it as being from around the years 1987 to 1988, as that was when this style of neck label was used. The fact it was made to order also, and with the larger number print, and the fact that it pre-dates the J League and the commercialisation of team kits, means this is most likely a match day shirt. The J League began in 1992/93, and before this there was the Japanese national football league, and the sport was very popular. All major teams were founded and funded by Japanese industrial corporations. Beautiful piece!!
In Very Good vintage, worn condition, compared to similar shirts of this age. Minimal signs of wear to be expected, such as minor wear to prints as pictured, but no major flaws.
Size Adults Small to Medium equivalent. Jaspo M from the era. Pit to pit is 48cm, and length from shoulder to hem is 71cm.
