Napoli Away Football Shirt Maglia Trikot Maillot Camiseta 1988 1989 MARS Ennerre Diego Maradona
Great season for the club as they claimed their first ever European title, the UEFA Cup. Although they did they finish runners up in both Serie A and the Coppa Italia. Diego Maradona was imperious, and the indisputable talisman of the side. This is an original Japanese market issue shirt from the era. Throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s, Europe based manufacturers like Umbro, adidas and Kappa licensed out production of certain kits (usually just the bigger clubs, or teams represented by iconic players) to Japanese based manufacturers, for sale on the Japanese market. These kits are highly collectible as they were not mass produced in the same quantities as the European market shirts. Some Japanese market shirts would differ slightly from the European market shirts. This was also the case with other international manufacturers, like Ennerre in this instance, who licensed out to Goldwin in Japan.
In Very Good vintage, worn condition compared to similar shirts of this age. Only minor signs of wear to be expected, relative to age.
