Incredibly rare shirt, only used for a very short period of time after the association switched from O’Neills to adidas in 1986, and then adopted the new crest for 1987. There was a strong squad in place at the time, who went on the qualify for Euro 88, making history for the Ireland national team. The likes of McGrath, Moran, Houghton, Whelan, McCarthy and Aldridge. The great Liam Brady was coming towards the end of his playing days.
In Excellent vintage, worn condition, compared to similar shirts of this age. Absolutely stunning shirt!!
Size Adults Large on tag. Pit to pit is 51cm and length from collar neckline to hem is 74cm.
