Republic of Ireland Match Worn Home Football Shirt Trikot Maglia 1976 1977 Signed by Johnny Giles
Amazing piece of memorabilia from the era of the some of greatest Irish players of all time, including Heighway, Brady, Givens and Johnny Giles. This is a match day shirt worn by a senior player, but I have no confirmation as to who or for what game. The number “9” is stitched on the back, and Don Givens was the centre forward most often around this time. The shirt is also signed by the great Johnny Giles, who was nearing the end of his international career at this point, and was now Player-Manager.
In Very Good vintage, worn condition, compared to similar shirts of this age. Signature is very clear.
Size Adults Medium fit, but most likely a Large from the era. Size label has been removed.
