However, the following season they won the Coppa Italia after adding goals to the team in the form of David Platt and Ruud Gullit. This is a Japanese market issue shirt from the era. Throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s, Europe based manufacturers like Umbro, adidas and Kappa licensed out production of certain kits (usually just the bigger clubs, or teams represented by iconic players) to Japanese based manufacturers, for sale on the Japanese market. These kits are highly collectible as they were not mass produced in the same quantities as the European market shirts. Some Japanese market shirts would differ slightly from the European market shirts.
In Very Good vintage, worn condition compared to similar shirts of this age. Very feint outline of old number on the back.
Size Adults Medium equivalent. JaspoO, which was the Japanese market sizing for the era. Pit to pit is 54.5cm, and length from top of shoulder to hem is 74.5cm.
