West Germany Home Football Shirt Maillot Trikot Maglia World Cup 1984 Karl-Heinz Rummenigge
A rare disappointment for West Germany as they failed narrowly to make it out of the group stages at a very competitive Euro ‘84. They had the superstar Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in their squad, and future World Cup winners Matthaus, Völler and Brehme. This is a Japanese market issue shirt from the era. Throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s, Europe based manufacturers like Umbro, adidas and Kappa licensed out production of certain kits (usually just the bigger clubs, or teams represented by iconic players) to Japanese based manufacturers, for sale on the Japanese market. These kits are highly collectible as they were not mass produced in the same quantities as the European market shirts. Some Japanese market shirts would differ slightly from the European market shirts.
In Very Good vintage, worn condition compared to similar shirts of this age.
Size Adults Medium equivalent. Jaspo O, which was Japanese market sizing from the era. Pit to pit is 50.5cm, and length from top of shoulder to hem is 76.5cm.
