Description
West Germany Home Football Shirt Jersey Maglia Trikot 1986 World Cup ‘86 Adidas Rudi Völler
Very rare shirt, especially in long sleeves, used during their run to the final of the 1986 World Cup, where they were beaten by Diego Maradona’s Argentina. They had a great squad including the likes of Brehme, Augenthaler, Magath, Littbarski, Matthäus, Rummenigge and Rudi Völler who’s squad number is on the back of this shirt. Japanese market shirts were shirts licensed for production by European companies like Adidas, Kappa, and in this case Umbro. They would usually do this only with the very big clubs and national teams, or teams that contained a very popular player (like Platini and France 1986, Zico and Brazil 1986 etc), and also shirts worn by teams who had won a major competition (like Argentina 1986, Holland 1988).
In Very Good vintage, worn condition compared to similar shirts of this age. Will present with general signs of wear as to be reasonably expected of a pre-worn, 40 year old shirt.
Size Adults Medium equivalent. Jaspo O which was the Japanese market sizing from the era. Pit to pit is 51cm and length from top of shoulder to hem is 72cm.
