Description
West Germany Home Football Shirt Jersey Maglia Trikot 1988 1990 Adidas
One of the most iconic shirts of all time, worn at both Euro ‘88, albeit with a slightly different design, and also at the 1990 World Cup. They of course won this tournament under the guidance of Franz Beckenbauer, and the likes of Kohler, Matthaus and Völler in the team. This is an original Japanese market shirt from the era. Japanese market shirts were shirts licensed for production by European companies like Adidas, Kappa, and in this case Umbro. They would usually do this only with the very big clubs and national teams, or teams that contained a very popular player (like Platini and France 1986, Zico and Brazil 1986 etc), and also shirts worn by teams who had won a major competition (like Argentina 1986, Holland 1988).
In Good vintage, worn condition compared to similar shirts of this age. Will present with general signs of wear as to be reasonably expected of a pre-worn, 35 year old shirt.
Size Adults Medium equivalent. Jaspo L which was the Japanese market sizing from the era. Pit to pit is 56cm (curved pit) and length from top of shoulder to hem is 69.5cm.
